Can children visit the Salt Mine?
the Salt Mine is an experience for everyone! But admission to the mine is permitted for children only after the age of four years. There is still a great deal for smaller children to experience above ground!

Is special clothing required?
due to the temperature (7°C throughout the year) and the rocky subsoil, warm clothing and stout footwear are recommended. You will receive protective clothing on the spot.

How long does the tour take?

we ask for your understanding that the natural conditions in the tunnels make a visit with a wheelchair impossible.

you vividly experience the mine here and will walk about 2.5 kilometres through tunnels of pure salt.

Is there an alternative to the slides?
instead of sliding you can use the adjacent stairways.
