Pure Enjoyment Salt Mine and Bio-Hofkäserei Fürstenhof

Fragrant hay, aromatic herbs, spacious meadows and fresh alpine air: No wonder that the organic cheese produced at Hofkäserei Fürstenhof tastes so good – the gentle-eyed Jersey cows really do lead a beautiful and relaxed life here. In former times, the Fürstenhof often served as a refreshment stop and lodging establishment for the prince-archbishops.

After your journey back in time at the Salt Mine in Hallein, now at the Fürstenhof you are greeted by an array of culinary highlights. But before delectable tidbits are sliced off the cheese rounds for the tasting itself, you will be given a tour of the dairy and learn some of the secrets of cheese production.
