Brewery tour with beer tasting at Hofbräu Kaltenhausen Additional Building Block
During a tour of Salzburg’s oldest brewery, visitors learn more about this business’s long and tradition-rich history of brewing along with some of the secrets of the brewer’s craft. They get to visit the wort pans as well as the cellars where the beers are fermented and stored, gradually transforming them into the finished Kaltenhausen products that beer fans know and love so much. For centuries, an integral element of any brewery has also been the production of beer barrels. In Kaltenhausen, you can still see the original cooper’s workshop. And then, accompanied by a trained beer sommelier, visitors are able to sample Kaltenhausen’s current beer specialties and simultaneously gain insights into the world of various beer styles, beer terminology and even the culture behind beer glasses. Finally, everyone is served a small beer and a big pretzel at the brewery’s own inn.
