1. Terms and Conditions of Participation
1.1 Eligibility and Exclusion
The competition is organized by Salzwelten GmbH. Participation is open only to consumers of legal age. Employees of Salzwelten GmbH, Salinen Austria AG, as well as any persons who violate these terms and conditions, are excluded from participation. By entering the competition, participants agree to these terms and conditions. Participation via competition entry services or similar providers, as well as the use of any unauthorized technical means, will result in disqualification.
1.2 Prizes
The prizes include vouchers for admission to Salzwelten, BAD ISCHLER Salzzart Provette 8g, a heart-shaped salt crystal tealight holder, and Salzzart milk chocolate (strawberry).
1.3 Participation
To participate validly, the following steps must be completed:

- Like the competition post
- Tag one person in the comments
- Double your chances of winning: share the post in your story and tag @salzwelten_official
1.4 Closing Date and Draw
The competition ends on May 5, 2026, at 11:59 pm. The draw will take place on May 6, 2026, and winners will be selected at random. The winner will be notified via Instagram direct message and must respond by May 7, 2026, at 9:00 am at the latest.
If no response is received, an alternate winner will be drawn on May 7, 2026, at 9:00 am. This person must respond by May 8, 2026, at 11:59 pm at the latest.
1.5 Selection and Notification of Winners
Winners will be selected at random on the day of the draw and notified via private message on the respective social media channel or by email. Participation in the competition is not dependent on the purchase of goods. This does not increase the chances of winning.
1.6 Prize Delivery
Prizes will be sent by post at the expense of Salzwelten GmbH once the winners have provided their address after receiving the notification. Shipping costs are covered by Salzwelten GmbH exclusively within Austria and Germany. Any additional costs associated with claiming the prize will not be covered by Salzwelten GmbH.
1.7 Legal
Cash payment of prizes is not possible. Legal recourse is excluded. Prizes cannot be exchanged for other items. The right to claim the prize is non-transferable. By participating, the participant acknowledges the privacy policy outlined below.
All personal designations apply equally to all genders.

If you have any questions regarding the processing of your personal data or wish to exercise your data subject rights, please contact us at info@salzwelten.at or send your request by post.
2.2 Purpose of Data Processing and Legal Basis
Salzwelten GmbH processes the personal data provided by participants within the scope of the competition, namely name, email address, and date of birth, exclusively for the purpose of conducting the competition, including determining the winner, notifying the winner, and delivering the prize. The date of birth is also processed to verify the participant’s age. The legal basis for data processing in connection with competitions is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
2.3 Transfer of Your Personal Data
Personal data will only be disclosed to third parties if this is necessary for the administration of the competition.
2.4 Data Retention Period
Personal data will be stored until the end of the competition and deleted after the winner has been announced. The winner’s personal data will be retained in accordance with statutory retention obligations under commercial and tax law until the end of the applicable retention period.
2.5 Data Subject Rights
You have the right to request information about the personal data we hold about you. If your data is incorrect, incomplete, or irrelevant, you have the right to request correction or deletion of such data. Furthermore, you have the right to request restriction of processing of your data as well as the right to data portability. If you have legitimate reasons, you also have the right to object to specific data processing activities. If we process your data based on your consent, you may withdraw this consent at any time, with the effect that we will no longer process your data for the purposes specified in the consent from the moment we receive your withdrawal.
If you believe that your rights have been violated in the processing of your personal data, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, in addition to the rights mentioned above.
3. No Association with Meta Platforms, Inc. (Meta)
Competitions published via Meta are in no way connected to Meta and are not sponsored, endorsed, or organized by Meta. The recipient of the information provided by participants via Meta is not Meta, but Salzwelten GmbH. All questions, comments, or complaints regarding the competition must be directed exclusively to Salzwelten GmbH.
