1. Participation Conditions
1.1 Eligibility and Exclusions
The prize contest is organized by Salzwelten GmbH. Only individuals of full legal age are eligible to participate. Employees of Salzwelten GmbH, Salinen Austria AG, Salinen Immobilien GmbH as well as all persons who have violated these Participation Conditions are excluded from participation. Participation facilitated by automated prize-contest registration services et al, as well as other impermissible technological means, will lead to exclusion from the prize contest.
1.2 Prizes
Drawings are conducted for free tickets as well as non-cash prizes in the form of salt products or souvenir items such as Sally the rubber duck, etc.
1.3 Entry Deadline and Date of Drawing
The entry deadline for the prize contest as well as the date of the drawing are provided in the general overview of the prize contest in question.
1.4 Determination and Notification of Winners
On the date of the drawing, winners are determined at random and notified by private message via a specific social media channel and/or by email.
1.5 Prize Conveyance
The prize will be sent to the winner by means of the postal services as soon as the winner has provided their address to Salzwelten GmbH subsequent to having received notification.
1.6 Legal Recourse
Prizes are not redeemable for cash. All decisions are final. By participating in the contest, the participant expressly accepts the Privacy Declaration as detailed below.

2.1 Responsibility and Contact
Salzwelten GmbH, Salzbergstraße 21, 4830 Hallstatt, AUSTRIA is responsible for processing your personally identifiable data. If you have any questions about the processing of your personal data or wish to exercise your privacy rights, please contact us by email at info@salzwelten.at or send us your request by post.
2.2 Purposes of Data Processing and Legal Foundation
Salzwelten GmbH processes the personally identifiable data supplied by the participant within the framework of the prize contest, that is to say their name, email address and date of birth, exclusively in order to conduct the prize contest and specifically in order to determine the winner, notify the winner, ship the prize and, with respect to the date of birth, determine the age of the participant. The legal foundation for data processing within the framework of prize contests is Article 6 par. 1 lit b GDPR.
2.3 Sharing of Personally Identifiable Data
Personally identifiable data is only shared with third parties if it is necessary in order to conduct the prize contest.
2.4 Storage Duration
Personally identifiable data is stored until conclusion of the prize contest. Once the winner has been announced, the data will be deleted. Due to commercial and fiscal retention requirements, personally identifiable data pertaining to the winner will be stored until expiration of the statutory retention period.
2.5 Participant Rights
You have the right to demand information about the personally identifiable data pertaining to you which we have stored. Should your data be inaccurate, incomplete or irrelevant, you have the right to have this data corrected or deleted. Furthermore, you have the right to restrict the processing of your data as well as the right to have the aforementioned data provided to you in a customary and intelligible form. If you have a legitimate interest in doing so, you also have the right to prevent specific forms of data processing. Insofar as we have received and process your data on the basis of consent you have given, you may revoke your consent at any time with the consequence that, from the time we have received your revocation declaration, we will no longer be able to process said data for those purposes for which your original consent was given.
If you are of the opinion that our processing of your personally identifiable data infringes upon your rights, in addition to the aforementioned rights you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent oversight authority, in this case the Austrian Data Privacy Office (“Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde”).
3. No Affiliation with Facebook
Prize contests that are published via Facebook are in no way affiliated with Facebook. They are neither sponsored, supported or organized by Facebook. The recipient of information provided by the participant via Facebook is not Facebook, but rather Salzwelten GmbH.
